We will be using OSYSA to mail a postcard with all the districts information. We will need to order more scorecards than what is reflected in the budget from last year as we had run out during the season. Balance as of March 31st $8,271.06 Dir of Referees: Discussed how many referees are needed for each age bracket: U6 can have 1 or 2 referees. U7 – U10: 2 referees. Carrie will be ordering more as we will need an extra 1,000 from last year. Tournament Committee: The seating of the tournament will be based on the following: Season Record Goals All Goals Scored Tournament drawing will be eliminated. They are still working on the final game structure. Director of Scheduling: For spring soccer, not everyone received their schedules and there were a number of teams that were upset as they had missed their games. To make sure this isn’t an issue going forward, all district representatives need to make sure they are relaying all the information from the board meetings to the district members and coaches. It is their responsibility to make sure everyone has all the required information. Reminder: The field coordinators need to work with Debbie to reschedule spring soccer games. VP Report: Still need to fill this position. Presidents Report: There are still Risk Management forms that need to be given to Carrie ASAP from board members. If you haven’t sent your district by-laws and board information to Carrie, please do so ASAP. Attendance is mandatory for all CCSA board meetings. If a member will not be present, it is their responsibility to get a replacement. CCSA needs to start posting the minutes on the website. Minutes will need to be sent to Tracy but also need to make sure we are careful about revealing personal information about coaches, players, etc. The calendar and the rule book also need to be posted to the website. OSYSA will not be raising their fee for 2009. In order to try and eliminate the one call expense, each district needs to find out how many email addresses they are missing for coaches to see if it would even be an option to email in place of the one call. Butch Davis and June Bowling received the coach of the year award. A motion was made to get each of them a card and a $25 gift card. The motion was passed.
